A great day for voting rights and democracy in Nebraska

LINCOLN, NE — Today, in a 38-1 vote, the Nebraska unicameral passed LB514, legislation that details acceptable forms of ID voters must present in order to vote.

LINCOLN, NE — Today, Common Cause Nebraska (CCNE) Executive Director Gavin Geis will appear before the Government, Military and Veterans Affairs Committee to testify in support of LB20, a NE bill that will restore voting rights for those who have completed their sentence. 

LINCOLN, NE — After Nebraska voters passed Initiative 432, a voter ID ballot measure, by a 66%-34% vote margin, Common Cause Nebraska is calling on the unicameral to implement sensible requirements.

LINCOLN, NE — Nebraska voters have just two more days to make their voices heard in the Tuesday, Nov. 8 midterm election. Voters can cast a ballot in-person or by mail.

LINCOLN, NE— Common Cause Nebraska reminds Nebraskans to use the nonpartisan Election Protection hotline, 866-OUR-VOTE, if they have any questions or encounter any challenges with casting a ballot on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 8. Voters can call or text the hotline to connect with volunteers standing by to help.
