Putting Everyday People Before Big Money
Rulings by the United States Supreme Court have let wealthy donors and special interest groups drown out the voices of everyone else. Instead of functioning democratically, our elections reward the candidates with the most money in the bank. When big money has the biggest megaphone, the preferences of everyday people get undervalued. We’re working at the state and local level to push for campaign finance reforms that make our elections more fair and our government more responsive to the voice of the people.
