Due to a series of United States Supreme Court decisions that relax donation rules, elections have become less democratic, and wealthy donors and special interest groups drown out the voices of everyone else. When big money has the biggest megaphone, the preferences of everyday people get undervalued.We’re working at the state and local level to push for campaign finance reforms that make our elections more open, and fair, and make a government that is responsive to all Californians.
