13 Organization Coalition Empowering Communities in NorCal

SAN FRANCISCO – With California’s first-ever Citizens Redistricting Commission beginning work on drawing legislative and congressional district lines — a process that will affect California and national politics for the next decade — organizations working to bring grassroots input into redistricting have come together to train communities on the nuts and bolts of this unique process.

WHAT: Northern California RedistrictingCA Conference

WHEN: March 31, 2011 Noon – 5 p.m.

Attendees will have a chance to meet the CRC commissioners, get help finding data that will help support their commission testimony and learn strategies for effectively presenting to the commission.
