Title II protects the digital rights everyone expects when going online. The largest ISPs in this country hold tremendous control over who can access the internet and what that access looks like. This unfettered control gives ISPs the ability and incentive to engage in discriminatory practices that undermine our digital rights.

Candidates running for office today need two things: enough money for the campaign's message to be heard and a solution for reducing money's importance.

Facebook has punted the decision of whether or not to permanently ban Donald Trump to its new Oversight Board. Instead of hiding behind whatever the Oversight Board decides, Facebook should enforce and expand its own civic integrity policies to crack down on hate speech and disinformation.

The national debate over gun control took center stage at the US Senate last week when Senator Chris Murphy, D-CT, and allies staged a 15-hour filibuster to force action on gun control legislation. The talk-a-thon ended only when the Senate agreed to hold votes on legislation banning gun sales to individuals on the government’s terrorist watch list and on expanding background checks.
