Welcome, Monet Silva, our new Associate Director, to the team!

Monet Silva is an experienced nonprofit professional, small business owner and community advocate.

She joins Common Cause New Mexico as their Associate Director. She brings with her a focus on strategy, social justice and a passion for policy.

Monet currently serves on the board of Equality New Mexico and is a founding member of the New Mexico Black Central Organizing Committee. She is also an Emerge New Mexico alumna.

Outside of the office, Monet is committed to serving her community through board service and organizing. She is fluent in Spanish and is currently learning Japanese. She also loves cooking some amazing vegan dishes, riding her Peloton and learning to enjoy running.
