Presidential campaign accused of putting dead people on RI nomination papers

The good news? These signatures didn't get far.

Below is executive director John Marion’s comment on allegations that Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy’s nomination forms contained the names of deceased voters. 

Yet Common Cause Executive Director John Marion argued there is good news in this signature scandal.

“It’s being caught, it’s being reported up the chain of command to the state,” he said. “The state is then alerting all other communities to be on the lookout.”
