The For the People Act (HR1/S1) is a bold democracy reform package with the ability to safeguard voting rights, shift power away from wealthy special interests, ensure access to fair representation, and strengthen ethics laws. Members have mounted a historic public pressure campaign to help push the Act through the Senate and across President Biden’s desk.

So far, Common Cause members and volunteer phonebankers and textbankers have:

• Called more than 3,347,344 voters to urge them to contact their Senators
• Sent more than 4,134,303 texts to engage voters
• Patchedthrough over 29,090 calls to senators, pushing them to support the For the People Act
• Sent more than 40,959 emails to senators’ offices
