Alicia Vallette is the new Outreach and Engagement Manager for Common Cause Rhode Island. Alicia’s passion for democracy work grew out of her roots in the nonpartisan student civic engagement space. She has served on the advisory boards of the Students Learn Students Vote Coalition (SLSV) and Campus Vote Project.
Alicia previously worked as an organizer for Public Citizen’s Democracy Campaign, where she researched election security policy, coordinated nationwide event programs, and championed grassroots-led pro-democracy legislation. She is also a former Roosevelt Network Forge Fellow and an alumna of the College Leadership Rhode Island (CLRI) program. A native Rhode Islander, Alicia is excited to work with Common Cause in her home state.
