Meet Shannon…
Shannon is the Outreach and Development Director for Common Cause New Mexico. She is an Albuquerque native and UNM graduate with a background in fundraising, advertising, public relations, event management, and digital media.
As a former consultant for Common Cause New Mexico, Shannon brings more than 10 years of nonpartisan, good-government experience to the role. She also served as director of the nonprofit New Mexico Foundation for Open Government.
In her position, she will work to grow, diversify, and engage our membership throughout the New Mexico, as well as support democracy-forward campaigns and initiatives at the state and local levels.
Shannon and her husband Max have been married 20 years, and she is mom to six-year-old Harlow and four-year-old Pierce. They have two cats, Honey and Bea, and a silver lab named Mercury.
