New York, September 8, 2011- Tonight, September 8th, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the corner of Church Street, and Park Place in downtown Manhattan, New York Neighbors for American Values, a non-partisan coalition of more than 130 prominent civic, religious, interfaith, civil liberties and civil rights organizations will host “Our Diversity Is Our Strength: Standing Together 10 Years Later,” a commemorative concert and vigil that celebrates the diversity and vibrancy of New York.
The event will feature music by Oran Etkin’s Kelenia Project and The Raskol Khan, Poetry by Tahani Salah, and prominent speakers from local organizations.
