Role: National Web Campaign Intern

Details: This is a part-time internship (15 hours/week), starting Thursday, February 1st and ending Monday, April 15th
Essential functions: Common Cause is seeking a National Web Campaign intern to work at the intersection of democracy and the ever-evolving digital landscape. This is a sensational opportunity to build your skills in data analysis, launch time-sensitive email campaigns, examine and synthesize campaign performance data. This is a chance to learn and grow at a non-partisan grassroots organization dedicated to upholding the core values of American democracy.
Skills you will build and work you will be involved in
- Coordinate the scheduling and execution of email campaigns, ensuring that messages are sent to the right recipients at the designated times.
- Track the progress of the drip campaign, monitoring key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
- Compile and export campaign performance data for reporting purposes, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Qualifications
You will be a good fit for this internship if you have:
- A passion for learning about elections, government affairs, and the legislative process
- A desire and an ability to work in a non-partisan manner
- An interest in data analysis
- A willingness to build your organizational skills and attention to detail
- A willingness to build your writing and listening skills
- A willingness to learn new skills
Compensation: $2,677.50 for the 10.5 weeks paid in 5 equal twice monthly payments on the 15th and last day of the month.
Classification: This position is classified as temporary and therefore not included in the union-represented collective bargaining unit.
