ADVISORY: Press Conference 11am TOMORROW/Wednesday, May 20 on Urgency of Passing HD 5075 to Allow Vote by Mail in Fall Elections

Media are invited to attend an online press conference with the Election Modernization Coalition and endorsers of HD 5075. The bill will enable safe, accessible and secure voting in the fall elections and is supported by over 100 Massachusetts organizations.

WHO: Voting rights organizations including Common Cause Massachusetts, MassVOTE, the League of Women Voters, and the ACLU of Massachusetts, and Associate Professor and Chair of the Government Department, Suffolk University.

WHAT: Press conference on support for vote by mail in Massachusetts and HD 5075, An Act Ensuring Safe and Participatory 2020 State Elections in Response to COVID-19.

WHEN: Wednesday, May 20th, starting at 11am. Speakers are expected to give five minutes of remarks, followed by 20 minutes of Q&A from the press. May 20 is 104 days before Primary Day.
