Champions for Democracy

This has been a challenging year for all of us, but in the midst of it all, we here at Colorado Common Cause have a renewed appreciation for the work of defending democracy. It may already be August, but our most ambitious programs of the year are still ahead of us!

Over the next few months, we are going to roll out programs to protect our elections and ensure that every voter is able to access and cast their ballot. We are working to recruit a diverse coalition of Coloradans to join our state’s very first independent redistricting commission and put an end to gerrymandering. We are creating meaningful campaign finance reform in Aurora, so that corporate donors can’t buy elections in Colorado’s most diverse city.
