The 2024 Spring General Election is fast approaching - Tuesday, April 2nd! And there are things you can take care of now to prepare for Election Day or to cast your absentee ballot in advance. Every election matters, and local races have a direct impact on your daily life.

School board, alderperson, mayor, judges, town board or city council, county board members - these are elected positions that could be on your ballot today, February 20th. You can check if you have any candidates on your ballot today by reviewing your sample ballot on MyVote Wisconsin.

It’s vitally important to prepare sooner rather than later for this year’s elections. We have many candidates, offices, and ballot questions that need your focus, consideration and participation in determining how Wisconsin and the country is represented and in carrying out the will of the people.

Students can look up their school on the lists Common Cause Wisconsin and Campus Vote Project have compiled to see if the current student ID at their particular public, private, technical and community campuses in the state is an acceptable form of ID for voting.
