Katya Ehresman is the Voting Rights Program Manager with Common Cause Texas. Katya has years of experience with youth and issue-based organizing as well as policy research and coalition building. Katya has a breadth of experience coordinating hundreds of partners in the statewide Texas Election Reform Coalition and mobilizing testimony, digital organizing, and legislative strategy.
Prior to joining Common Cause, Katya has worked at a variety of partner organizations in the Voting Rights movement, including the Annette Strauss Institute for Civic Life, Campus Vote Project, Texas Civil Rights Project, The Civics Center, as well as multiple state and local political campaigns.
When she’s not working, Katya likes to take her dog on walks and is attempting to visit every coffee shop in Austin.
