We thank former Philadelphia City Commissioner Al Schmidt for his testimony today, and for his continued willingness to speak the truth in the face of lies and harrowing threats. 

It’s unfortunate that our Senate Intergovernmental Operations Committee is spending time and resources on this, today. There are so many other things that Pennsylvania voters are concerned about – continuing access to telehealth services, help with housing needs, the economy and better jobs.

Eight voters and three community organizations took their argument to Commonwealth Court today in their effort to join a lawsuit challenging a subpoena issued by a state Senate committee to the Department of State seeking the personally identifying information of the approximately nine million registered voters in Pennsylvania.
