On anniversary of Jan. 6 attack, a demand for accountability

Today in Raleigh, North Carolinians marked the 2nd anniversary of the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol by calling for reforms to protect our democracy and demanding accountability from those who fueled that violent insurrection two years ago.

“We can never forget January 6th because the threats to our democracy are ever present,” said Bob Phillips, executive director of Common Cause North Carolina.
