On March 26: Stand Up to End Gerrymandering in NC

On March 26, the same day that the U.S. Supreme Court hears our landmark case of Rucho v. Common Cause, we’re holding press conference events in three North Carolina cities to show support for ending gerrymandering.

Join us in Raleigh, Greensboro or Asheville on March 26 to add your voice to the call to end gerrymandering now and forever!

Event details:

Raleigh

When:  March 26. Meet at 10:30 a.m. Press conference begins at 11:00 a.m.

Location: Lawn in front of the NC Legislative Building at 16 W. Jones Street in Raleigh

Speakers will include Bob Phillips of Common Cause NC, state lawmakers in support of redistricting reform and North Carolina citizens.


Greensboro

When:  March 26. Meet at 10:00 a.m. Press conference begins at 10:30 a.m.

Location: On the front steps of Gibbs Hall at NC A&T State University (near the intersection of E. Market Street and Laurel Street, next to the line where campus is divided by gerrymandered congressional districts)

Speakers will include NC A&T students and Greensboro residents impacted by gerrymandering.


Asheville

When:  March 26. Meet at 11:30 a.m. Press conference begins at noon.

Location: Pack Square Park (on the plaza in between the courthouse and city hall)

Speakers will include Asheville Mayor Esther Manheimer and Buncombe County voters.
