Empowering a new generation of democracy leaders in North Carolina

For more than 15 years, Common Cause North Carolina has been promoting voting at our state’s 10 Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Our Democracy Fellows lead this nonpartisan work, conducting voter registration drives, hosting voter education events and organizing Election Day marches to the polls.

Through our Democracy Fellows program, we boost civic engagement on these campuses and help our state’s 40,000 HBCU students make their voices heard at the ballot box.
