Common Cause NC helps protect the vote in the primary election
03.16.2016 / By Bryan Warner
With voters headed to the polls in large numbers and under new voter ID requirements, members of Common Cause North Carolina stood ready at voting locations around the state to help ensure the election day process went smoothly for citizens.
Volunteers from Common Cause traveled to polling places in Raleigh, Fayetteville and Winston-Salem to provide assistance to voters who might encounter confusion or obstacles to casting a vote.
“I decided to volunteer today so that not only my voice, but the voice of those around me can be heard,” said Tre Cooper, a student at Fayetteville State University.
