Claire Snyder-Hall, Program Director and Lobbyist
Claire Snyder-Hall, who joined the Common Cause Delaware team in 2015, has worked in the field of civic engagement for over twenty years. Before moving to Delaware, she was an Associate Professor of Political Theory at George Mason University, where she directed the American Democracy Project, as well as a series of academic programs. Her primary area of expertise is democratic theory and practice. Snyder-Hall is a long-time associate of the Kettering Foundation, working in the area of higher education. She has authored a wide array of books and articles on issues of public concern. She holds a PhD in political science from Rutgers University and a BA cum laude from Smith College.
