Meet Claire Snyder-Hall…
Claire Snyder-Hall serves as Executive Director for Common Cause Delaware. Claire has focused most of her professional life on strengthening democracy in the United States, as an active member of the civic engagement and deliberative democracy community for almost thirty years and in the realm of electoral politics for the past ten.
Claire began her career as a professor of political theory with a specialization in democratic theory and has published widely on a range of topics. She served on the faculty of George Mason University for twelve years, where she taught undergraduate and graduate courses, directed a number of academic programs, and led American Democracy Project programming on campus.
She holds a PhD in political science from Rutgers University and a BA cum laude from Smith College. She resides in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
