Mixed emotions linger after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court's release of a new map of the state's congressional districts.

Common Cause Pennsylvania executive director Micah Sims said “don`t look for your number, look for where you are on the map, because obviously the renumbering situation has caused a bit of confusion as well, but nothing that education from the state, and good government groups like ourselves can’t help to facilitate.”

Governor Wolf submitted his congressional map to the State Supreme Court, just moments before the midnight deadline Thursday night.

Sims points to the state's third largest county, Montgomery, which is split into four districts in the Republican map. "The Governor in his map seemingly leaves it as one congressional district, with a little bit of it going into another district. Which makes sense," said Sims.

Governor Tom Wolf has rejected a Republican-drawn congressional map designed to replace the one deemed unconstitutional by the state Supreme Court.

We...hear from the good government group Common Cause Pennsylvania which wants maps that are more reflective of the state’s diversity.
