Ohio Voter Rights Coalition Letter to Secretary LaRose RE Safe In-Person Voting

The Ohio Voter Rights Coalition today announced recommendations endorsed by more than 200 public health professionals from all over Ohio calling for specific procedures to make in-person voting safer. The Secretary of State and election officials need to take steps to stop the spread of COVID-19 both at Early Vote and at polling locations on Election Day. In addition, more than 45 voting rights and allied organizations and 35 faith leaders support this urgent guidance. These healthcare advocates endorse six specific recommendations including social distancing, and the use of masks or face shields to protect voters and poll workers.
