A conversation with Rep. Rick Glazier

Rep. Rick Glazier spoke with Common Cause NC as he prepared to leave the state House after serving 13 years in that chamber, sharing his views on such issues as voting rights, redistricting reform, ethics and more.

Elected seven times to the NC General Assembly, Glazier previously served for six years on the Cumberland County Board of Education, including two years as chairman.

Upon departing from the legislature, Glazier will become executive director of the NC Justice Center in Raleigh, the mission of which is “to eliminate poverty in North Carolina by ensuring that every household in the state has access to the resources, services and fair treatment it needs to achieve economic security.”
