Throughout January 2024 we hosted live Community Advocacy Leadership Workshops to develop content that makes sure you are prepared and feel confident having those conversations with your elected leaders. We want you to understand how laws are made, and how to navigate advocating for what you care about most so your voice is heard by decisionmakers.

This training is now self guided. You can access a recorded session and all post-event materials here.

We NEED to ensure that politicians remember that they work for US, and the best way we can remind them of this is by showing up to the capitol this legislative session! And before we put our advocacy skills into practice on the capitol campus, we need prepare ourselves! That’s why we’re launching our Democracy School. Whether this is your 1st legislative session or your 20th, we’ll be covering topics that are relevant to your advocacy! These are stand alone sessions and you do not need to attend one lesson to understand the other.
