ST. PAUL, MN — New voters and voters who need to make updates have until Tuesday, Oct. 18, to submit their online application to register to vote in the Nov. 8 midterm election. Mail-in registrations must be received by 5 p.m. the same day in order to be accepted.

"We expect political candidates to uphold our freedom to vote, not deny it. It is imperative we call on our past, present, and future leaders to uphold the freedom to vote and support fair, safe, and accessible elections."

Today, Common Cause Minnesota, the League of Women Voters of Minnesota and the Minnesota Second Chance Coalition, filed an amicus brief with the State Supreme Court to restore the voting rights of tens of thousands of Minnesotans in Schroeder v. Minnesota Secretary of State.
