Common Cause is Not For Sale.

Common Cause returned a $200,000 check from a donor who is now bankrolling the campaign against California’s mid-decade redistricting – and sent a mailer that misled voters into thinking we were on his side.

While we're confident in our decision, this is serious money for our organization. We’re going to need to make this money up somewhere…or scale back our work.
