Pennsylvania, tell our Senators: REJECT the anti-voter SAVE Act

Every eligible American deserves the freedom to vote without jumping through impossible hoops.

But the SAVE Act would scare newly naturalized citizens out of voting and make it harder for millions of eligible voters to cast a ballot—especially seniors, women, students, veterans, and rural voters.

In Pennsylvania alone, 6,738,823 voters don’t have passports, 2,860,875 married women could face documentation issues, and thousands voters used online registration that this bill would eliminate.

Contact Your Legislators: Support and Adopt the National Popular Vote

We’re contacting legislators in both chambers of the Pennsylvania General Assembly to encourage the passage of a National Popular Vote bill in Pennsylvania. We believe that the electoral college, as it stands now, is an outdated system. One-person-one-vote should apply to presidential elections and there is no reason we shouldn’t be electing our Presidents by a nationwide popular vote. Please join us in asking your legislators to support the introduction and passage of a national...

Tell Pennsylvania Lawmakers: Defend Our Elections from Trump’s Power Grab

Donald Trump’s new executive order is a dangerous attack on our democracy. It tries to force states, including Pennsylvania, to impose strict voter registration requirements, share sensitive voter data with the federal government, and threatens to strip away election funding from any state that doesn’t comply. This is a blatant attempt to suppress votes and seize control of state elections. Pennsylvania state lawmakers must take a stand—now. Urge your lawmakers to oppose Trump’s anti-voter executive...

Tell Pennsylvania House Members: Oppose Burdensome Voter ID Bill HB 771

We’re contacting Pennsylvania House members to oppose HB 771, a Voter ID bill that would burden voters and potentially disenfranchise Pennsylvanians across the state. This bill will institute new paperwork and Voter ID requirements for in-person voting. Even though voters already prove their identity when they register to vote, this bill would require voters to show ID or complete a form every time they vote in-person. This bill would burden voters who do not readily...

Contact Your Legislators to Co-Sponsor Independent Redistricting in PA

We’re contacting legislators to encourage co-sponsorship for House Bill 31 and Senate Bill 131, legislation that would end gerrymandering in Pennsylvania. This amendment to the Pennsylvania constitution would ensure fair and nonpartisan redistricting for Pennsylvania’s future. Under this amendment, district lines would be drawn by an independent body of ordinary citizens, not by politicians. It’s time to end partisan gerrymandering here in the Commonwealth, and you can help by emailing your state legislators and asking...
