March Coffee with Common Cause Ohio – Links and Resources
Blog Post
April 7 is the first day of early vote! In March we filled the streets with signs, solidarity, and a commitment to work for positive change. Let’s take that energy into the Primary where voters will make important decisions up and down the ballot. We’ll cover all of this and more at our next Coffee with Common Cause, Thursday, April 16 at 8:30am.
May 5 Primary—What you need to know
Don’t like what you see in the news? VOTE. Want to reject the dangerous rhetoric and insensitive policies? VOTE. Use your voice at the ballot box to protect yourself and the people you care about. VOTE.
Reminder: Mailed ballots must be received by 7:30pm on Election Day. Allow 10 days for the mail, or return your ballot to the drop box at your county Board of Elections.
Ohioans were loud and clear—‘No Kings!’
Tens of thousands of Ohioans turned out for ‘No Kings 3’ events across the state to tell the Trump Administration that our democracy represents all of us, not just one ego. More than 25,000+ people rallied at the Ohio Statehouse at this historic event, and another 23,000 Ohioans turned out at events all across central Ohio. Thank you to the hundreds of event hosts, volunteers and organizers who made No Kings Days such a success! Check out this photo album and this Statehouse highlight reel.

Join a Candidate Forum for Ohio Secretary of State
In November, Ohio will elect a new Secretary of State; the candidates appearing on the November ballot will be decided on starting today! Whether it’s election rules, voting maps, or ballot language, the Secretary of State plays an oversized role in determining the health of our democracy. This coming Saturday, April 11, I will be introducing a forum featuring the two Democratic candidates for Secretary of State, Bryan Hambley and Allison Russo. Please join us! Register here to attend in person, 12:30 to 2pm in Columbus. Or watch via livestream at this link.

Join us on Thursday, April 16 at 8:30am for a virtual Coffee with Common Cause Ohio. We continue to host these monthly meetings as a way to build community, share upcoming events and celebrate the work we do to push back on the ongoing threats to democracy. Please let me know if you have any questions or topics for Coffee with Common Cause.
