Chapel Hill Town Council Member Allen Buansi has joined the state advisory board for Common Cause NC, a nonpartisan, good-government organization working to strengthen democracy.
“We are very pleased to welcome Allen to our state advisory board,” said Bob Phillips, executive director of Common Cause NC. “He brings a perspective and expertise that is invaluable to our work of building a democracy for all in North Carolina.”
Buansi is serving his first term on the Chapel Hill Town Council and is an attorney-fellow at the UNC Center for Civil Rights.
