Make your voice heard in North Carolina’s primary election

Make your voice heard in North Carolina’s primary election! Early voting runs from Feb. 13 through Feb. 29 across the state, during which time you can vote at any early voting site in your county. Throughout the early voting period, you can also use same-day voter registration (same-day registration is not available on election day).

Primary election day is Tuesday, March 3. If you vote on the primary election day, you should go to your assigned polling place.

It’s important to note that voters are NOT required to show photo ID for the primary election. In a Dec. 31 order, a federal district court blocked North Carolina’s voter photo ID requirement from taking effect. The injunction will remain in place until further order of the court.

Find early voting sites or your election day polling place and get more information on voting at NCVoterGuide.org, a nonpartisan voter guide provided by Common Cause North Carolina.

Get ready. Go vote!
