Nebraskans Can Call 866-OUR-VOTE Hotline for Any Issues Exercising the Right to Vote
LINCOLN, NE— Common Cause Nebraska reminds Nebraskans to use the nonpartisan Election Protection hotline, 866-OUR-VOTE, if they have any questions or encounter any challenges with casting a ballot on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 8. Voters can call or text the hotline to connect with volunteers standing by to help.

Nebraskans Approach Upcoming Deadlines for Voter Registration
LINCOLN, NE — New voters have until Friday, Oct. 21, to submit their voter registration forms online or by mail in time for the Nov. 8 midterm election. Mail-in registrations must be postmarked by Oct. 21 in order to be accepted.

Common Cause Nebraska Releases 2020 State Lobbying Activity Report
Today, Common Cause Nebraska released its annual report detailing the state’s lobbying activity. The report, “Lobbyist Spending: Nebraska’s Other Pandemic Thrives During COVID-19,” found that while gross lobbying expenditures dropped in 2020, lobbyist compensation increased for more than half of the state’s top ten firms.
