Republican-American: State legislators begin debate on upcoming early-voting process

“There is no higher mandate in Connecticut government than the state Constitution. So, while the legislature has many policy options on many issues, here we are to implement a mandate that there shall be early voting,” said Alex Knopp, a member of the state advisory board for Common Cause Connecticut, former state representative and past mayor of Norwalk.
