CA Common Cause is dedicated to training and supporting the next generation of democracy reform activists and leaders. To achieve this, we host an in-person Student Organizing and Activist Retreat (SOAR).

Graduates of the SOAR are eligible to apply to our Helen Grieco College Democracy Fellowship. This program is designed to help our Democracy Fellows lead actions with students on their campus and in their community to reform our democracy. Once accepted, the Democracy Fellow will work with a CA Common Cause staff member to plan two actions during the semester. CA Common Cause provides a stipend for our Democracy Fellows.
