Because of political realities, redistricting reform at the national and state level is extremely unlikely in the near term. But, we've got several opportunities to reform redistricting at the local level, which has already happened in Bloomington, Goshen and Monroe County.

Since August, Indiana has been subject to the “will they, won’t they” of redistricting. Recently, the Senate was able to kill the bill that would have changed congressional districts mid-cycle (HB1032). However, living in the fear that this can happen whenever DC outsiders or our lawmakers decide is not fair to Hoosier voters. Sen. Qaddoura and Sen. Walker have co-sponsored Senate Bill 53, a bill that would make mid-cycle redistricting illegal. Tell your State Senator...
