executive power concerns, in the context of growing risks to American democracy.\u00a0The court cannot assume that the IRS \u2014 which\u00a0operates\u00a0under the president\u2019s authority \u2014 will resist a president who is exerting heavy control over\u00a0traditionally independent agencies.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span data-contrast=\"auto\">Democracy Forward\u00a0represents\u00a0Common Cause and the other amici\u00a0in filing the brief.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cWe
