Yêu cầu Quốc hội: TỪ CHỐI việc Trump tài trợ cho các cuộc đột kích bất công của ICE
Chúng ta không thể để cuộc đàn áp của Trump ở Los Angeles trở thành điều bình thường mới.
Quốc hội phải từ chối tài trợ cho những cuộc tấn công vào quyền của chúng ta, vào hàng xóm của chúng ta và quyền tự do ngôn luận của chúng ta – và TỪ CHỐI yêu cầu của Trump về việc cấp thêm hàng tỷ đô la để tài trợ cho các cuộc đột kích của ICE tại nơi làm việc và trường học của chúng ta.
People across the country are rising up and exercising the basic right to peaceful protest, demanding an end to Trump’s unlawful detentions and the pain they’re inflicting on families just trying to work and survive.
But instead of listening, President Trump is responding with military force. [1]
Against the wishes of local elected officials and law enforcement, he’s deploying the National Guard to Los Angeles and threatening to send in Marines – not to protect anyone, but to provoke confrontation.
Trump has already spent at least $134 million to militarize Los Angeles [2] and is demanding Congress give him billions of dollars more to continue funding ICE raids in our workplaces and schools. [3] Every dollar spent on this hateful crackdown is a dollar taken from healthcare, food, and the services our communities actually need. Congress can – and must – step in now.
Tell Congress: REJECT Trump’s funding for unjust ICE raids and end this crackdown on our most fundamental rights.
