Inaprubahan ng Senado ng Estados Unidos ang dalawa sa mga nominado ni Pangulong Barack Obama sa Federal Election Commission na nagpapanumbalik sa buong line-up ng panel at nagbibigay ng bagong boses sa Komisyon sa unang pagkakataon sa mga taon.<\/p>

Noong Hunyo, hinirang ng Pangulo si Lee Goodman, isang Republican attorney mula sa Virginia, at Ann Ravel, chair ng California Fair Political Practices Commission.
