Here are a few that Common Cause is supporting and\/or working on:<\/p><h2>Alaska<\/h2><ul><li><strong>Automatic Voter Registration (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pfdvoter.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Measure 1<\/a>):<\/strong> This initiative would allow voters to be automatically registered to vote when&nbsp;they apply for the permanent fund dividend (PFD), a yearly dividend funded by oil wealth that is received by nearly 90% of the Alaskan population. The measure has bipartisan support, including the endorsement of both of Alaska&rsquo;s Republican U.S. senators, Lisa Murkowski and Dan Sullivan.<\/li><\/ul><h2>California<\/h2><ul><li><strong>Strengthening Legislative Transparency (<a href=\"http:\/\/yesprop54.org\/\">Proposition 54<\/a>):<\/strong> California Common Cause is co-leading a campaign to pass Proposition 54, which would strengthen transparency in the state legislature and increase citizens&rsquo; access to information.<\/li><li><strong>Overturning Citizens United (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.yesonca59.com\/\">Proposition 59<\/a>):<\/strong> California Common Cause is co-leading a campaign to pass Proposition 59, which calls on Congress to pass a constitutional amendment to overturn the U.S. Supreme Court&rsquo;s Citizens United v. FEC decision.<\/li><li><strong>Berkeley Citizen Funded Elections (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.yesonx1.org\/\">Measure XI<\/a>):<\/strong> California Common Cause is co-leading a campaign to create a more representative and accountable government in Berkeley with a citizen funded elections program.<\/li><li><strong>Sacramento Redistricting Reform (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sacbee.com\/opinion\/election-endorsements\/article100705902.html\" target=\"_blank\">Measure L<\/a>):<\/strong> California Common Cause is supporting&nbsp;Measure L, which would&nbsp;create an independent citizens-led redistricting commission to draw city council districts.&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>San Francisco Lobbying &amp; Ethics Reform (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfchronicle.com\/opinion\/editorials\/article\/Chronicle-recommends-Yes-on-SF-Proposition-T-9698673.php\">Proposition T<\/a>):<\/strong> California Common Cause is supporting Proposition T, which would strengthen the city&rsquo;s lobbying and ethics laws to create a more accountable government.<\/li><\/ul><h2>Maryland<\/h2><ul><li><strong>Howard County Citizen Funded Elections (<a href=\"http:\/\/fairelectionshowardcounty.org\/\">Question A<\/a>):<\/strong> Common Cause Maryland is leading a campaign to create a more representative and accountable government in Howard County with citizen funded elections.<\/li><\/ul><h2>Maine<\/h2><ul><li><strong>Ranked Choice Voting (<a href=\"https:\/\/ballotpedia.org\/Maine_Ranked_Choice_Voting_Initiative,_Question_5_(2016)\" target=\"_blank\">Question 5<\/a>):<\/strong> This initiative would take on political polarization and&nbsp;establish statewide ranked choice voting.<\/li><\/ul><h2>Missouri<\/h2><ul><li><strong>Contribution Limits (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/2016\/10\/18\/498395856\/missouri-voters-to-decide-whether-to-rein-in-unlimited-political-cash\">Amendment 2<\/a>):<\/strong> This initiative would establish limits on campaign contributions for state and judicial candidates, committees, and political parties.<\/li><\/ul><h2>Oregon<\/h2><ul><li><strong>Benton County Ranked Choice Voting (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.betterballotbenton.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Measure 2-100<\/a>):<\/strong> This initiative would take on political polarization and&nbsp;establish ranked choice voting in Benton County.<\/li><\/ul><h2>Rhode Island<\/h2><ul><li><strong>Ethics Reform (<a href=\"https:\/\/yeson2ri.org\/\">Question 2<\/a>):<\/strong> Common Cause Rhode Island is leading the campaign to pass Question 2, which would restore the Ethics Commission&rsquo;s constitutional authority to police ethics violations by members of the General Assembly.<\/li><\/ul><h2>Timog Dakota<\/h2><ul><li><strong>Anti-Corruption Act (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.yes22.org\/\">Measure 22<\/a>):<\/strong> This initiative would put limits on donations from parties, political action committees, and lobbyists, require more transparency, and institute other money in politics reforms.<\/li><li><strong>Redistricting Reform (<a href=\"https:\/\/ballotpedia.org\/South_Dakota_Redistricting_Commission,_Constitutional_Amendment_T_(2016)\">Amendment T<\/a>):<\/strong> This initiative would create a statewide independent redistricting commission.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul><h2>Washington<\/h2><ul><li><strong>Overturning Citizens United (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wamend.org\/\">Initiative 735<\/a>):<\/strong> This initiative calls on Congress to pass a constitutional amendment to overturn the U.S. Supreme Court&rsquo;s Citizens United v.
