Sabihin sa Kongreso: Itago ang mga kamay ni Elon Musk sa aming Social Security!
Tina-target nina Trump at Musk ang ating Social Security – sinisira ang mga serbisyo sa telepono at pinapanghina ang kakayahan ng bawat Amerikano na ma-access ang kanilang mga nakuhang benepisyo.
HINDI dapat payagan ng Kongreso ang anumang pag-atake sa Social Security na hindi matugunan.
Ang aming mga miyembro ng Kongreso ay dapat na kumilos at protektahan ang aming safety net mula sa pagalit na pagkuha ng Trump at Musk.
President Trump and Elon Musk are targeting our Social Security.
That’s right – if Musk gets his way, we’d all have to wait hours in line and fight with confusing online forms just to access our earned benefits. And at worst, he could destroy the program entirely – all to line his pockets and those of his billionaire friends! [1]
To be perfectly clear: if you’re a current Social Security recipient, you don’t need to panic – all payments are still going out as scheduled.
But Trump and Musk are using a tried-and-true playbook: first get people scared about something that isn’t happening (i.e. undocumented people who don’t and can’t collect Social Security getting checks,) then use that fear as a battering ram to slash services and get rich at our expense.
We can’t give a single inch on this one, or they’ll take a mile.
