Groups like Common Cause Texas and the Department of Justice are monitoring the polls to ensure all Texans can cast their ballots fairly

As voters head to the polls, Common Cause Texas is reminding the public that it may take several days for election officials to finalize results.

Texas voters can make their voices heard in the November 8 midterm election beginning today, October 24 through Friday, November 4.

Texas continues to put unnecessary barriers for new voters to register to vote. Those looking to vote in November's election need to register to vote by Oct. 11.
