In unserer Beschwerde argumentieren wir, dass diese Karten sowohl gegen den Voting Rights Act (VRA) als auch gegen die US-Verfassung versto\u00dfen und durch neue Karten ersetzt werden sollten, die die politische Macht gerechter verteilen.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Der Plan zur Neugliederung der Wahlbezirke in Texas ist in mehreren Bereichen unzureichend \u2013 es wurden keine Koalitionswahlbezirke gebildet und farbige W\u00e4hler wurden in andere Wahlbezirke aufgeteilt, um ihre Stimmkraft zu verw\u00e4ssern. Dar\u00fcber hinaus wurde der Prozess der Neugliederung der Wahlbezirke ungerecht durchgef\u00fchrt, mit einem allgemeinen Mangel an Transparenz bei \u00f6ffentlichen Anh\u00f6rungen und begrenzten M\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr sinnvolle \u00f6ffentliche Beteiligung.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Diese Intervention ist notwendig, um der vielf\u00e4ltigen Bev\u00f6lkerung von Texas im n\u00e4chsten Jahrzehnt eine faire politische Stimme zu geben. BIPOC-Gemeinschaften stellen die am schnellsten wachsende Bev\u00f6lkerung des Staates dar. Wenn diese Karten Bestand haben, besteht f\u00fcr Tausende von Texanern die Gefahr, dass ihre Stimmen zum Schweigen gebracht und ihre Anliegen ignoriert werden.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eigenn\u00fctzige Politiker haben den Prozess der Neugliederung der Wahlkreise schon viel zu lange missbraucht. Deshalb verklagen wir Gouverneur Greg Abbott und Au\u00dfenminister John Scott, um ihre absichtlich diskriminierenden Wahlkreispl\u00e4ne zu kippen.
