Meet Olena…
Olena Lacy, Treasurer, was a U.S. assistant secretary of labor in the Clinton administration from 1993 to 1998, heading the Pension and Welfare Benefits Administration (now the Employee Benefits Security Administration). Olena was chief deputy state treasurer for the state of California, representing the treasurer on the boards of CalPERS and CalSTRS. Olena is a recognized authority on the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, which covers a wide range of employee benefit plans, as well as other self-directed retirement plans. She is currently a senior advisor and board member of Financial Engines, which provides independent investment services to participants in 401(k) plans at Fortune 500 companies. She is also a special consultant on fiduciary issues for Crosswater Realty Advisors.
