Alicia Vallette is the Outreach and Engagement Manager for Common Cause Rhode Island. Alicia’s passion for democracy work grew out of her roots in the nonpartisan student civic engagement space. She has served on the national advisory boards of the Students Learn Students Vote Coalition (SLSV) and Campus Vote Project, and is an advocate for the intentional institutionalization and implementation of civic education and democratic engagement best practices.
Alicia previously worked as an organizer for Public Citizen’s Democracy Campaign, where she researched election security policy, coordinated nationwide event programs, and championed grassroots-led pro-democracy legislation. She is also a former Roosevelt Network Forge Fellow and an alumna of the College Leadership Rhode Island (CLRI) program. A native Rhode Islander, Alicia is thrilled to work with Common Cause on democracy and good government issues in her home state.
