Anderson Amicus Brief

Common Cause filed our brief before the Supreme Court urging them to disqualify Donald Trump under the 14th Amendment.

We asked the justices to uphold the Colorado Supreme Court’s findings that Trump fomented insurrection against the United States — and that under the 14th Amendment, he can no longer hold office. On March 8th, 2024, the Court overturned the Colorado Supreme Court’s ruling.
