As the Common Cause organizer for Northern Colorado, Jennifer is responsible for outreach and advocacy on behalf of Common Cause throughout the Northern Colorado region. In this capacity, she engages with civic leaders, community groups and individual citizens to promote public participation in government and defend individual voting rights and democratic institutions throughout the greater Greeley-Fort Collins metro region.
Jennifer came to Common Cause from the International Staff of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, where she supported international cooperative programs among NATO Allies. Prior to NATO, she was a career military officer in the US Air Force, where she most recently served as an international political-military affairs advisor at the Pentagon and the US Embassy in Paris before retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Jennifer is a graduate of the US Air Force Academy, holds two masters degrees and is a graduate of the French National Defense University. She was named a 2011 Young Leader by the American Council on Germany.
