Daisy is the Voting Rights Organizer for Common Cause Texas. She also serves on the executive board of the El Paso Young Democrats as secretary.
Before joining Common Cause, Daisy organized direct actions surrounding the Texas Legislation, protests, and marches, and educated the community on the issues of voting rights, LGBTQIA+ equity, reproductive justice, criminal justice reform, and immigration reform along with voter registration drives across the El Paso area.
She has worked and volunteered for various campaigns ranging from local elections all the way to presidential elections. She has also been an election worker and election judge. In addition, Daisy has interned at the office of Texas State Senator José Rodríguez. She is a proud alumna of the University of Texas at El Paso, UTEP, and a proud daughter of immigrants.
