Cameron “Cam” Hill is the Associate Director of Colorado Common Cause. As Associate Director he supports our legislative and policy initiatives, grassroots organizing movement, and advocacy efforts.
Cam joins common cause with broad experience as an educator, government affairs professional, and campaign organizer. He began his career in education as a Teach for America corps member at Bruce Randolph School in Denver teaching middle school literacy skills. After two years of teaching, he led the school’s assessment and data work for three years before transitioning into government affairs. As government affairs coordinator for the Colorado Association of Realtors, he supported the team’s political fundraising, member engagement, legislative, and advocacy efforts. Cam also has extensive experience with campaign organizing and fundraising having volunteered with many campaigns in Colorado and his home state of North Carolina.
Cam has a BA in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
