Les comit\u00e9s comptent sur les citoyens pour offrir des points de vue diff\u00e9rents sur les questions qu&#039;ils examinent.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">M\u00eame s\u2019il peut \u00eatre \u00e9prouvant pour les nerfs de s\u2019asseoir devant un comit\u00e9 l\u00e9gislatif d\u2019\u00c9tat ou un autre organe l\u00e9gislatif, avec une bonne pr\u00e9paration et un argumentaire solide, vous pouvez communiquer efficacement vos positions et d\u00e9fendre votre communaut\u00e9.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Voici quelques conseils pour vous aider \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer et \u00e0 pr\u00e9senter votre t\u00e9moignage.<\/span>\r\n<h2><b>Avant l&#039;audience<\/b><\/h2>\r\n<h3><b>Fais tes devoirs<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lisez attentivement l\u2019annonce de l\u2019audience pour conna\u00eetre les horaires, les dates et les lieux.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Assurez-vous de conna\u00eetre les conditions d&#039;inscription et de soumission pour les t\u00e9moignages oraux et \u00e9crits. Si un projet de loi est propos\u00e9, quels changements apporterait-il \u00e0 la loi ?\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Faites des recherches sur les membres du comit\u00e9, y compris le pr\u00e9sident, et assurez-vous de savoir comment prononcer leurs noms. Quelles sont, le cas \u00e9ch\u00e9ant, leurs positions actuelles sur cette proposition ?\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0Qui a propos\u00e9 la loi ou demand\u00e9 une audience ? Quel est son parcours ou son int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e0 ce sujet ?\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3><b>\u00c9crivez votre t\u00e9moignage<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Que vous donniez un t\u00e9moignage oral ou que vous pr\u00e9sentiez des commentaires \u00e9crits, le plan sera le m\u00eame : saluez le comit\u00e9, remerciez-le de vous avoir permis de t\u00e9moigner, pr\u00e9sentez-vous, exposez votre argumentation, indiquez ce que vous voulez qu&#039;il fasse (voter pour\/contre le projet de loi, amender le projet de loi, etc.) et remerciez-le \u00e0 nouveau.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00c9noncez clairement votre position. \u00ab Je soutiens \u00bb ou \u00ab Je m\u2019oppose \u00bb suivi du num\u00e9ro du projet de loi ou du probl\u00e8me en question.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">D\u00e9veloppez 2 ou 3 points cl\u00e9s que vous souhaitez partager avec le comit\u00e9.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Faites en sorte que votre argument soit factuel et pr\u00e9cis. Utilisez de bonnes informations provenant de sources fiables pour construire votre argument.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Faites en sorte que vos remarques soient simples et directes. N&#039;utilisez pas trop de jargon ou trop de donn\u00e9es. Utilisez des termes simples pour expliquer le probl\u00e8me.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Soyez bref. Limitez votre t\u00e9moignage \u00e0 un seul sujet et respectez le temps imparti pour un t\u00e9moignage oral ou une ou deux pages pour un t\u00e9moignage \u00e9crit.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Faites-en une affaire personnelle. Expliquez au comit\u00e9 pourquoi vous vous exprimez sur ce sujet. \u00cates-vous un expert dans ce domaine? Un membre de la communaut\u00e9 directement touch\u00e9 par ce probl\u00e8me? Expliquez comment ce probl\u00e8me vous affecte, vous, votre famille, votre communaut\u00e9, votre entreprise, etc.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Proposer des moyens positifs pour r\u00e9soudre le probl\u00e8me<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>IMPORTANT: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Entra\u00eenez-vous, entra\u00eenez-vous, entra\u00eenez-vous ! Vous n&#039;\u00eates pas oblig\u00e9 de m\u00e9moriser l&#039;int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 de votre t\u00e9moignage, mais vous devez le conna\u00eetre suffisamment bien pour pouvoir regarder les membres du comit\u00e9 pendant que vous parlez. Cela vous aidera \u00e9galement \u00e0 vous assurer que votre t\u00e9moignage respecte le temps imparti (g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement 2 \u00e0 5 minutes\u2026 v\u00e9rifiez l&#039;annonce ou appelez \u00e0 l&#039;avance pour vous en assurer).<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Si le comit\u00e9 demande que des observations soient soumises avant le t\u00e9moignage oral, assurez-vous de le faire rapidement.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h2><b>\u00c0 l&#039;audience<\/b><\/h2>\r\n<h3><b>Habillez-vous de mani\u00e8re professionnelle.<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">La tenue vestimentaire professionnelle est la norme et est attendue lorsque vous t\u00e9moignez. Pensez \u00e0 un \u00ab entretien d&#039;embauche dans une banque \u00bb. V\u00e9rifiez le code vestimentaire si vous n&#039;\u00eates pas s\u00fbr.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00c9vitez de porter du parfum ou de l\u2019eau de Cologne, surtout si vous vous trouvez dans une petite pi\u00e8ce.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3><b>Faites attention \u00e0 toute l\u2019audience.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Il peut \u00eatre utile de savoir ce que disent les autres t\u00e9moins. Ne r\u00e9p\u00e9tez pas ce que les autres intervenants ont dit ; si d&#039;autres ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 fait valoir les arguments que vous souhaitez faire valoir, reconnaissez-le et exhortez le comit\u00e9 \u00e0 prendre les mesures appropri\u00e9es.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3><b>Utilisez des titres formels et soyez respectueux.<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Adressez-vous au pr\u00e9sident du comit\u00e9 (M. ou Madame le Pr\u00e9sident).<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ne discutez pas, ne criez pas et ne soyez pas impoli.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Assurez-vous de remercier le comit\u00e9 pour l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 de t\u00e9moigner.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3><b>Faites passer votre discours.<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Imprimez vos remarques sur papier. Vous ne voudriez pas qu&#039;un probl\u00e8me technique vienne faire d\u00e9railler votre t\u00e9moignage.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Parlez clairement et \u00e0 un rythme normal.
